The murder case of 26-year-old Indian businessman Ketan Agrawal has taken an even more sensational turn after new details emerged during the investigation.

According to Indian media reports, police claim that Ketan’s 22-year-old fiancée, Siya Goel, and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, meticulously planned the murder.

Pune Rural Police stated that Siya and Chetan allegedly made at least three unsuccessful attempts to kill Ketan before the fatal incident. In one instance, Siya reportedly pushed Ketan, but he survived. She later managed to defuse suspicion by claiming that she had panicked after seeing a snake and was actually trying to save him.

Police further revealed that on June 18, Chetan Chaudhary was already waiting at a secluded location near Lohagad Fort as part of the alleged plan. Investigators say Siya used pre-arranged signals to indicate the right moment, after which Chetan allegedly pushed Ketan into a gorge and fled the scene.

The investigation has also uncovered claims that Siya deliberately hid Ketan’s passport to ensure that their planned pre-wedding photoshoot in Bali would be canceled, allowing the alleged murder plot to proceed without disruption.

The shocking case has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many members of India’s entertainment industry also reacting strongly to the allegations.

Ketan Agrawal and Siya Goel became engaged in February 2026, and their wedding was scheduled for November 2026. Preparations for the ceremony were reportedly in full swing. However, investigators believe that Siya did not want to marry Ketan and was allegedly deceiving her fiancé for reasons that remain unclear.
