A major revelation by the fighter pilot of a U.S. F-15 aircraft, which was reportedly downed during a conflict with Iran, has caused widespread concern.
According to reports, the American F-15 fighter jet was shot down in Iranian airspace in April. Both pilots ejected from the aircraft and were later rescued by the U.S. military in a special operation.
U.S. media reports say that one of the pilots has made a significant disclosure, stating that before being targeted, he observed a large number of Iranian drones forming what he described as a “jellyfish” formation—appearing like an aerial “minefield of drones.”
The pilot explained that there was a large drone positioned at the top, with numerous smaller drones flying beneath it like tentacles.
His statement has reportedly caused concern among U.S. officials.
Experts say that if the pilot’s account is accurate, it could indicate a highly advanced level of drone capability by Iran. Some analysts also believe that Iran may be receiving assistance in drone technology from China and Russia.
