A small aircraft crashed and was destroyed in the U.S. state of Texas, leaving one person dead.
According to U.S. media reports, the plane crashed onto a highway shortly after entering Texas airspace. Authorities said six people were on board the private aircraft at the time of the incident. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the crash.
The accident comes after another deadly aviation incident in the U.S. state of Missouri, where 12 people lost their lives in a plane crash near an airport in Butler, Missouri. Officials confirmed that all 12 individuals on board were killed, including 11 skydivers and the pilot.
In a separate incident, a U.S. Marine Corps FA-18 Hornet fighter jet crashed in a mountainous area near Washington during a routine training flight.
According to reports, the pilot successfully ejected and survived the crash with minor injuries. He was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. U.S. authorities have also launched an investigation into that incident.
