In India, a pet dog gave up its life while saving its owner.
Dogs are known for their loyalty and unconditional love, never leaving their owners even in difficult times. A similar incident took place in the state of Kerala, where a faithful dog sacrificed its life to save its owner.
According to Indian media, a man named Ajish had stepped out of his house to buy milk and took his pet dog, “Appu,” along with him. The dog was walking ahead while the owner followed behind as usual.
Halfway through the journey, they came across a broken live electric wire lying on the road. The dog noticed it, stopped immediately, and started barking to alert its owner.
After being warned, the owner safely moved aside. Fearing that someone else might get electrocuted, the dog tried to pull the wire away using its mouth. In doing so, it was severely electrocuted.
The owner, standing nearby, was shocked by the sudden turn of events and could do nothing to save it. Within moments, the dog died.
Later, after being informed, the electricity company cut off the power and removed the wire from the dog’s jaws. The dog was buried near the owner’s home.
