According to Indian media reports, Mohini, the mother of Tamil film industry star Ajith Kumar, has died after battling age-related health issues for some time. She was reportedly under treatment at a private hospital in Chennai during her final days.
Reports further state that Ajith Kumar was abroad in Dubai at the time of her passing. He immediately returned to Chennai with his family upon receiving the news.
The sad news has deeply saddened the Tamil film industry as well as fans of the actor, who have expressed grief and condolences over the loss.
