You may have heard many stories about the loyalty of dogs toward humans. A similar incident took place in Turkey when a dog’s owner was taken to the hospital, and the dog sat outside for an entire week, waiting for his owner to recover.
According to the American news channel CNN, the owner of the dog, named Boncuk, was Cemal Senturk, who was taken to the hospital due to a brain illness.
Cemal Senturk was admitted to the hospital on January 14, and the dog followed the ambulance all the way to the hospital. During this time, the hospital staff continued to feed the dog.
The hospital’s communication director said, “This dog does not harm anyone. Everyone noticed the bond between the dog and its owner. It made everyone happy.”
Cemal Senturk’s daughter tried several times to take the dog back home, but it would run away and return to the hospital again.
When Cemal Senturk was discharged from the hospital, the dog joyfully jumped around his wheelchair.
On this occasion, Cemal Senturk said, “This dog is very close to us, just like humans. It keeps you happy.”
