Police find dogs roaming North Staffordshire streets

Police are trying to find the owner of three dogs found roaming the streets of North Staffordshire. The spaniel type dogs were spotted in the Newcastle Road area of Leek yesterday (February 20).

Now officers say they will be taken to the City Dogs Home in Bucknall if an owner fails to come forward. Photos of the dogs have now been shared on social media.

A Staffordshire Police spokesman said: “We are currently housing three spaniel type dogs who were seen to be roaming in the area of Newcastle Road in Leek. The dogs are going to be taken to City dogs home in Bucknall. If you know the owner or they belong to you please ring us.”
