After suffering a fracture in his foot, former U.S. President Joe Biden has been advised by doctors to wear a special shoe for the next several weeks.
Biden’s personal physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, said that two bones in Joe Biden’s right foot have minor fractures, due to which he will need to wear a special boot on his right foot to aid recovery.
According to the doctor, the minor fractures in two bones of Biden’s right foot occurred on Saturday while he was playing with one of his pet dogs.
A statement issued by Biden’s office said that on Sunday, the president-elect visited a bone specialist in Delaware for an examination of his foot.
Dr. Kevin O’Connor further stated that the initial X-rays did not clearly show any fracture, but a CT scan revealed minor fractures in two small bones in the middle of the right foot.
“Major has been with Joe Biden since 2018. Earlier, in 2008, immediately after the election campaign, he had also adopted a dog named Champ. Both dogs are of the German Shepherd breed.
Former President Barack Obama also had two dogs. Before him, George W. Bush kept several pets during his eight years in the White House.”
